Summer Bay Resort is a RCI Gold Crown resort developed by Joe H. Scott, Sr. It is located on a secluded private lake, is quiet and away from it all, yet minutes from the most popular attractions and activities in the world. Only six miles from Walt Disney World Resort entrance. This 2 Bedroom Condo units sleep a maximum of 8 guests, 6 guests private. 1 queen, 2 double and a sofa sleeper, and 2 baths. All condominium units at Summer Bay are fully furnished, from linens to appliances, including irons, hair dryer, microwave ovens, washer and dryer and fully-equipped kitchens. This unit is deeded and can be used every year, or you can use your 75,000(yearly) RCI points to exchange to any other place in the world. 2008 dues and taxes were $759.
At the heart of the resort is the world class clubhouse which features a relaxing atrium area, a state-of-the-art fitness center and a poolside tiki bar. The main lake backs up to the clubhouse. Here you can find an assortment of water sport activities such as jet skiing, water skiing, canoeing, and pontoon boating
Smaller lakes are scattered through the resort as well as conveniently located swimming pools, most of which feature crystal clean hot tubs. The staff is at your service to provide assistance with general information, attraction tickets, dining and entertainment recommendations, babysitting information or any other request you might have. Walt Disney Resort busses pick up and drop off daily at the club house for your convenience
